Meghan Markle Faces Copycat Claims Over Netflix Cooking Show
Duchess Accused of Imitating LA Food Blogger in ‘With Love, Meghan’
Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series With Love, Meghan has stirred controversy, with critics accusing the Duchess of Sussex of mimicking an LA-based food blogger’s presentation style.
The show, which premiered on March 4, showcases Meghan’s approach to cooking and creative food displays. However, one episode featuring a “Fruit Rainbow” arrangement drew comparisons to a similar concept popularised by food blogger Meg Quinn, known for her brand Ain’t Too Proud to Meg.

Social media users quickly pointed out the similarities, with one comment stating, “Meghan Markle copied Ain’t Too Proud to Meg—she didn’t even switch up the fruits!” Both displays featured colourful fruit arranged in an arch, sparking debate over originality.
Defenders of Meghan argued that food styling trends often overlap, particularly in a fast-paced industry where content creators work under tight deadlines. Despite the criticism, her return to television has been celebrated by fans, with one supporter posting, “So happy she’s back on TV!”
This is not the first time Meghan’s series has faced scrutiny. The With Love, Meghan trailer previously drew comparisons to Cooking With Love, a show by Pamela Anderson, due to its similar title and promotional style.
As the debate unfolds, industry insiders are closely watching whether Meghan’s latest project will achieve the same level of success as her previous ventures.
