Keratin actually is a very strong protein that is found in the tissues of the skin cells, nails and hair. These cysts are large or strange looking , similar to pimples, but it\u2019s easy to identify them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is very important to mention that Milia could occur at persons of all ages, but most often it occurs in newborns. Besides the fact that they disappear within a few weeks, the doctors say that nearly half of the newborn babies have signs of miles. Typically they are large around 1 \u2013 2 mm and they usually occur in areas around the eyes, nose and cheeks.
