Royal biographer Robert Jobson, in Catherine, The Princess of Wales: The Biography, claims that William\u2019s anxiety grew to the point where he asked the Queen to ensure Meghan would not wear any of Princess Diana\u2019s jewellery during the ceremony, though Catherine had access to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite these tensions, the wedding at Windsor in May 2018 was a public success, although behind the scenes, the family\u2019s relationships remained strained.
